Beginner Backpacking Trip

 For those who want to get a taste of what it is like to be immersed in the wilderness. If you are not sure about being in the wilderness overnight, or if you are worried about the physical demands of a backpacking trip, this may the the experience for you. Typical trips include a shorter hike to the campsite (1-3 miles) and a day to explore and relax with some time for discernment.

We sleep in a lean-to or tents depending on the location

All trips include one individual Spiritual Discernment session before the trip. In addition, one group planning session before the trip

Cost - around $750 (does not include transportation to the trailhead or any gear rental)
